3) Free Community Resources:
Tacoma has literally dozens of free community resources and activities! Tacoma Public Libraries and Pierce County Libraries offer both summer learning programs and a great (free!) space to read and learn! Additionally, Tacoma Public Library and Pierce County Library System both offer free passes to the Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum, and Washington State History Museum (TPL Passes, PCL Passes).

While you’re at it, check out the Children’s Museum of Tacoma! It’s a pay-as-you-will museum, meaning that if you can’t afford to pay, you and your children can still come in and enjoy the museum!

Don’t forget Tacoma’s Third Thursday Art Walk! Every 3rd Thursday of the month take your family on a downtown stroll to visit several local museums and art galleries at no cost!
